Stoplite is a app designed to do just that, by keeping groups of friends in constant communication at social events like parties, concerts, and nights out. The app accomplishes this by allowing users to communicate their statuses and check in on friends by sending messages and status updates. Responding and status updates are simplified because users can respond with a quick tap of green, yellow, or red button. Red signifies that the user is in danger, green signifies that the user is having fun, and yellow signifies that the user is not having fun but also not in danger. If you cant look at the screen, a triple tap will broadcast a red status to all your friends. What makes this app special and different from the rest is that it is quick and easy to either communicate that the user is in danger or to check up on friends.
